Regional title for Alessio Loi and Marica Spanu
Two golds and a bronze at the Sardinian Cadet Championships for the Terralba Judo athletes. Last Sunday, in Ruinas, Alessio Loi and Marica Spanu won the title in their respective categories, +90 kilograms and +70 kilograms.
Third step of the podium, however, for Gianluca Spanu, in the -66 kilograms category.
Also in Ruinas, the athletes Eleonora Loi and Giacomo Scintu participated in the qualifiers for the Junior and Senior Italian Cup. Loi, third, came close to qualifying, while Scintu exited in the first round.
“Now,” says coach Giovanni Spanu, “the club is preparing for two important trips, one to Riccione for the Csen national championship, the second week of November, and the other to Senigallia, at the end of November. I’m really happy with the performance of my boys, even if there’s still a lot to work on.”
