AC Milan star from the Netherlands, Tijjani Reijndersfelt proud of his younger brother Eliano Reijnders defending the Indonesian National Team.
This was conveyed by Tijjani in an interview with FIFA. For Tijjani, this is unique, because brother and sister represent different countries’ football.
“This is unique! My younger brother, Eliano, playing for Indonesia makes me very proud. We grew up playing football together,” said Tijjani.

“So, seeing him represent Indonesia is truly extraordinary,” said the bracelet player who defends AC Milan in an exclusive interview with FIFA.
Even though he is defending a different country on the international stage, Tijjani really supports his younger brother’s decision. For him, this kind of story is not shared by many people.
“Even though we took different paths on the international stage, it is very special to share this relationship through football,” said the 26-year-old.
“I fully support it [Eliano Reijnders] and being part of this story is truly extraordinary,” said this player of Indonesian descent from his mother’s side.
Regarding the Indonesian lineage that flows in his area, Tijjani is also proud. Emotionally, Tijjani admits that he has a deep cultural connection with Indonesia.
“My background as an Indonesian is something I’m very proud of. It’s a big part of who I am. My mother is from Indonesia,” he said.
