The Toronto Raptors completed their preparation for the new season in the National Basketball Association (NBA) with a victory. Viennese Jakob Pöltl‘s team won on Friday (local time) at the Brooklyn Nets with 116:112.
The 29-year-old center recorded 14 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal. Pöltl was in action for 25:21 minutes.
The regular season in the strongest basketball league in the world begins for the Raptors on Wednesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Pöltl is entering his ninth year in the NBA and sees his team “ready” for the start.
