SLOVAKIA – The Slovak football world was hit by the news of the tragic death of a young player. The talented 33-year-old Dávid, who was known for his great performances in the Austrian club, left an indelible mark in the hearts of all who knew him. He ended his life on the railway near Senec.
Dávid, who played not only in Slovakia, but also in Austria, was known not only for his passion for football. “Dávid was a football player whose passion for the game and life was unique. His first Austrian club became a place where his talent could fully develop. He was the top scorer and his dedication to football was admirable.” says his close friend. Since Dávid already became the top scorer in the lower league in the first season, he won the admiration of his teammates and fans.
A tragic departure
Dávid’s tragic departure from western Slovakia raises many questions and leaves a void in the hearts of his family, friends and fans. David ended his life on October 15. Collision with a trainin the section between Senec and Bernolákov, unfortunately, he had no chance to survive. Despite the train driver’s best efforts, the collision could not be prevented.

A rebel with a big heart
Although Dávid was sometimes seen as a rebel who defied the rules and the system, those close to him describe him as a sensitive person with a big heart. His ability to love intensely, even when it brought pain, was a testament to his strong character. Dávid was not afraid to live according to his own rules, which brought him joy, but also challenges.
However, some tried to guide him to a different path than the one he had chosen. His fate reminds us of the importance of accepting people as they are, without trying to change them. “Each of us has our own story, and that’s what makes us special,” David’s father stated painfully.
Joy, but also suffering
Relatives say that Dávid fell in love with a girl. His love brought him joy, but also great suffering. He gave up housing, family and even football. “His life changed the moment he decided to let go of his pain” they say.
The memory of Dávid will live on through his football achievements. The football community, family and friends say goodbye to Dávid with pain in their hearts, but also with gratitude for the time he spent with them. His energy, love of football and indomitable spirit will forever remain an inspiration to all who knew him.
