Puerto Rico Baseball Academy and High School announces tryouts for the baseball and softball program for the 2025-26 school year for seventh through twelfth grades.
Every student interested in entering the academy will be evaluated in three areas: academic, sports and interview. The evaluation is free of cost. The scheduled dates are:
Baseball Program:
- Wednesday, October 30, 2024
- Wednesday, November 13, 2024
- softball program
- Thursday, November 14, 2024
All evaluations will be carried out at 8:00am at the Eastern Recre-Sports Complex in Caguas.

Puerto Rico Baseball Academy and High School is an educational institution specialized in baseball and softball sports registered in the Department of State of PR and duly accredited by the accrediting agencies Middle States and CADIE, in addition to having the endorsement of Major League Baseball ( MLB).
Among the Academy’s achievements, it stands out that at least 149 of its graduates have been selected in the rookie draft of Major League organizations, with Carlos Correa being the first Puerto Rican to be selected in the first selection of the MLB Draft in 2012.
In 2022, graduate Camille Ortiz is the first Puerto Rican, born and raised on the Island, to obtain a sports scholarship in softball at a Division I university (University of South Florida).
The Academy has provided its services for twenty-two (22) years and serves a population of students from 7th to 12th grade.
