Bundesliga football club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim has hired Paul Pajduch as technical director. This means that the Kraichgauer’s sporting management is complete again, as the club announced. The 30-year-old Pajduch follows the new sports director Andreas Schicker, with whom he already worked at the management level at the Austrian champions Sturm Graz. Pajduch has worked for Graz since 2018 – alongside Schicker.
According to the club, Pajduch will primarily focus on scouting and squad planning in Hoffenheim. Together with Schicker and Frank Kramer (Director of Sport), he forms the new sporting management at TSG. “It is well known that I have worked very well and, above all, successfully with Paul Pajduch at Sturm Graz in recent years. During this time, an enormous relationship of trust was created, so I never made it a secret that Paul was my absolute preferred candidate for the vacant position of Technical Director here in Hoffenheim,” said Schicker, according to the statement.
