This Saturday, UD Ibiza Pitiús was completely surpassed by Oviedo, which is the new leader of group B of the Honor Division. The Ibizans with a team full of youth could only scratch a match point that ended with the score 6-1.
Things started well for the Pitiusan interests, since the British couple formed by Elizabeth Tolman and Alex Green beat Zharka Yelyzaveta and Alberto Perals by (5-11, 6-11 and 8-11).
The joy did not last long and the Asturians turned it around with the men’s and women’s doubles. Sofía García and Tolman could not beat Yelyzaveta and Ágnes Korosi (11-0, 11-9 and 11-8); and Green and Marc Martín fell to Vicente Gázquez and Marcos García (11-7, 11-2 and 11-4).
