Caracas, Oct. 23 AVN.- With 224 <a href="https://www.archysport.com/2022/01/massification-of-sport-and-support-for-high-performance-offers-governor-when-delivering-the-state-sports-award-2021-va-de-nuez-news/” title=”Massification of sport and support for high performance, offers governor when delivering the State Sports Award 2021 – Va de Nuez News”>athletes in nine sports and two parasports, Venezuela will participate in the XXVIII South American School Games Bucaramanga 2024 that will take place from December 1 to 9 in Colombia, reports the Press of the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports .
The flag athletes of the Venezuelan delegation will be Paola Zerpa from table tennis and Adanuriel Rosal Brito from swimming.
The sports disciplines will cover chess, athletics, 5×5 and 3×3 basketball, handball, futsala, judo, swimming, table tennis and court volleyball.
Likewise, it will have competitions in para-athletics and para-swimming.
The largest South American school sporting event will have 2,640 participants between 12 and 14 years of age, who will compete representing 12 countries: Bonaire, Suriname, Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentine, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela and Colombia , host country.
The spaces where the XXVIII South American School Games Bucaramanga 2024 will be held will be the Coliseum of the Industrial University of Santander, the Bicentenario Coliseum, the Vicente Díaz Coliseum, the Olympic swimming pools, the Athletics Stadium and the NEOMUNDO Convention Center, among others.
Venezuela has achieved the international title in Chile 2017 and Paraguay 2022.
