The Honduras Football Federation (FFH) confirmed this Friday the venue where the ‘H’ match against the Mexican National Teamcorresponding to the first leg of the Quarterfinals of the Concacaf Nations League.
“After analyzing the possible venues for the match Nations League between Honduras and Mexico, scheduled for next November 15, it has been decided to hold the meeting in the General Francisco Morazán Stadiumin the city of San Pedro Sula“reads the statement shared by the FFH.
Honduras will seek revenge, after last year El Tri won on penalties after overcoming a 2-0 loss in Tegucigalpa. In it Aztec StadiumMexico achieved the tie with a goal in eleven-minute injury time.
Now the Hondurans will seek to finish the series at home, before playing the second leg on Tuesday, November 19 at the Nemesio Diez Stadium. “We will have a respectable opponent, we will see who I choose because they are going to be two tough games.”
