KRC Genk came out with sad news today. The mother of trainer Thorsten Fink died unexpectedly.
“We report with sadness the news that the mother of head coach Thorsten Fink passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday. The thoughts of the entire Genk family go out to our coach and his loved ones,” the Limburg club said.
“Fink has indicated that he wants to continue to lead the training of our first team during this difficult period. He will also take a seat in the dug-out during the Limburg derby on Sunday. Out of respect for our coach and his environment, there will be no further communication about this,” they close.
