On the occasion of their third preseason meeting, the third at home, the San Antonio Spurs will face the Utah Jazz on the night of this Saturday to Sunday. A meeting which will be played without Victor Wembanyama, put to rest by his staff. Besides Devin Vassell, injured, the Frenchman will be the only player in the rotation who will not participate in this meeting.
The pivot, rookie of the year last season, has so far played only one pre-season match, during the victory against Orlando (107-97). The opportunity for him to play his first minutes alongside Chris Paul for what presents itself as a particularly exciting duo for the coming season in the NBA. During this meeting, the number one in the 2023 draft, however, did not find an address for his recovery (11 points at 4/15 and 0/5 at 3 pts, 9 rebounds, 4 lost balls).
