The Judo Club Basel presents itself with a new digital face. The completely redesigned website combines minimalist Swiss design with elements of Japanese aesthetics. The We dot web agency. is responsible for it.

With the aim of positioning the Judo Club Basel brand in a contemporary way, the existing logo – the Basel stick in brush style next to a red sun – was developed to become the central design element of the website. The design takes traditional motifs and reinterprets them.
“The challenge was to translate the values and long history of the Basel Judo Club into a modern web design. By merging traditional elements with a clear design language, we managed to create a unique site,” explains Sibylle Löwe, director artistic from the web agency we dot.

Since 1935, the Judo Club Basel has been synonymous with the promotion of judo and ju-jitsu at a high level. With around 300 members, it is one of the largest clubs in Switzerland and places particular emphasis on the overall development of body, soul and spirit.
