With its new visual identity, the Ligue
1 now has a new trophy. No more hexagonal, the French championship today revealed the precious that the champions will now lift.
At the end of the 2023/2024 season, the PSG lifted the title of champion of France for the 12th time in its history. And for the last time in history, it was the French trophy which was brandished by the Parisians. The latter, which saw the light of day during the 2006/2007 season, disappears and gives way to a new trophy, which sees the light of day with the new visual identity of the French championship. So, this Thursday, the Ligue 1
revealed on his social networks the new precious coveted by the 18 clubs involved in the elite of French football.
This new trophy, in gold, has a more classic appearance compared to the hexagonal one, and represents a very smooth ball, carried by four feet which have the shape of the number 1, in reference to the Ligue 1. On the base which supports everything, the names of the winners of the French championship since its creation in 1932/1933 are engraved.
