The NFL has adjusted the game plan in Week 9. Instead of the previously mixed franchises from Philadelphia and Jacksonville, two playoff candidates will meet in the Sunday night game.
Instead of Jaguars vs. Eagles, NFL fans will now be treated to a cracking duel in the Sunday Night Game in Week 9. With the Minnesota Vikings, the surprise team of the season so far meets the Indianapolis Colts. The NFL announced the change to the schedule on Monday.
While Sam Darnold’s Vikings currently have the best chance of making the playoffs at 5-1, the 4-3 Colts should also be in contention to advance after the regular season.
With a flexible schedule system, the NFL reserves the right to swap or reschedule games in order to deliver the best, highest quality experience to its fans at the right time.
The game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Philadelphia Eagles will instead be postponed to the afternoon session (from 10:05 p.m. in the live ticker on ran.de).
