Mönchengladbach – 15 October 2024 Westcon-Comstora leading global technology provider and specialist distributor, is now taking over the marketing of Extreme Networks industry solutions for sports and cultural venues in the EMEA region – enabling event organizers to offer customers a high-quality user experience at all times.
Westcon-Comstor is the first distributor in EMEA to offer Extreme Networks’ market-leading portfolio of solutions for stadiums and other venues. Extreme Networks’ market-leading technology is currently used by globally renowned football clubs such as Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund, as well as US sports associations such as Major League Baseball (MLB), NASCAR and National Football League (NFL).
Extreme Networks is committed to advancing the idea of a fully connected stadium to offer fans a completely new sports experience on game day.
Based on high-performance Wi-Fi environments and comprehensive Wi-Fi analyses, the locations achieve a high-quality experience – including digital tickets, cashless transactions, digital ticket purchasing, real-time sports betting and better performance of the stadium app. On the one hand, this benefits the fans – but it also opens up attractive new sales potential for the organizers. Strong network infrastructures also improve the interaction between ticket, security and employee teams and provide data-centric insights for better operational planning and resource allocation.
