NFL Owners Approve Brady’s Minority Stake in Vegas Raiders
Tom Brady has been authorized by NFL owners to purchase a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders, a move that commissioner Roger Goodell called a good sign of the league’s health.
Tom Brady will call a San Francisco 49ers game this Sunday afternoon.
Weeks 1-3 saw the former New England Patriot commentate on Cowboys starting games and find his footing as a sportscaster. Next, Brady called a game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the team he won a Super Bowl with.
After that, Brady called the Week 5 game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals in his home state of California. In Week 6, he commentated a Cowboys game against the Detroit Lions.
On Oct. 20, the confirmed partial owner of the Las Vegas Raiders will announce a 49ers game with his broadcast partner, Kevin Burkhardt, the play-by-play voice of NFL games on Fox.
What play is Tom Brady calling for Week 7
Brady will host a game between the 49ers and the Detroit Lions this Sunday.
The game is scheduled to start at 4:25 p.m. Eastern Standard Time and you can watch it on Fox Sports. The 49ers-Chiefs game will also be available to stream on Fubo, NFL+ or Youtube TV.
Salary of commentator Tom Brady
The seven-time Super Bowl champion signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with FOX Sports, replacing Greg Olsen, another former NFL star turned commentator.
His debut, which attracted nearly 24 million viewers, was met with mixed reception and overall disappointment due to his awkward delivery and milquetoast presentation.
Since then, he has gotten into the groove of his new job, with some praising his efforts and vision from the highest levels of the game, with even LeBron James expressing his support.
