The Mexican national team will be back in the CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Football) Nations League tournament in November, but that doesn’t mean their fans have to wait until then to see El Tri de Javier Aguirre showing off on the field.
Just this weekend they will put their techniques to the test against the Spanish club Valencia CF, based in the Spanish city of the same name.

When does Mexico play?
The Mexican national team will face the Valencia CF club on Saturday, October 12 at 7 pm (Arizona and Pacific time) at the Cuauhtémoc Stadium in Puebla, home of Club Puebla.
According to a statement from the Valencian team, the match will take place after an agreement was reached with the Mexican Football Federation to play a friendly, as the club intends to get closer to its fan base in Mexico. The meeting allows the Mexican team to carry out more friendly matches towards the 2026 World Cup.
The tricolor team’s next match will be a friendly against the United States on Tuesday, October 15 at the Akron Stadium in Zapopan, Jalisco.
