Week 6 of the NFL will mark the end of the first third of the 2024 Season. Although there are still two undefeated teams (Kansas City Chiefs y Minnesota Vikings)no team has shown clear dominance, so there are no defined favorites so far.
The day will begin with Thursday Night Footballstarring a key NFC West duel between the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers, both looking to change the course of their seasons.
San Francisco comes off a tight 24-23 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, while Seattle was outscored 29-20 by the New York Giants. The 49ers (2-3), tied for second in the division with the Cardinals, have lost three of their last four games. For their part, the Seahawks (3-2), leaders of the NFC West, are on a two-game losing streak, making this game crucial for both teams.
Another of the most interesting duels of Week 6 will be between the surprising Washington Commanders (4-1), led by quarterback Jayden Daniels, selected with the number 2 pick in the draft, who will face the hot and dangerous Baltimore Ravens (3 -2) at M&T Bank Stadium.
The week will close with Monday Night Football, where the New York Jets (2-3), who recently fired their head coach Robert Saleh, will host the Buffalo Bills (3-2), who are coming off two consecutive losses. Former defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich will take over as interim coach. His outstanding work with the defense has given him this opportunity, although he faces a great challenge, especially with Aaron Rodgers involved in several controversies after Saleh’s dismissal.
