Jorge Martin actually appeared strong from pole position. Martin was overtaken by Francesco Bagnaia in the middle of the race, but then overtook him again.

Martin finally lost his leading position in the last three laps. That was after Marc Marquez overtook the fourth corner from the inside.

After that, Jorge Martin try pressing Marc Marquez. However, it seems that the Prima Pramac rider was quite satisfied with finishing in second place ahead of Francesco Bagnaia.

“It was a difficult race. I had speed but the wind was quite strong. I tried to maintain it by keeping the gap,” explained Jorge Martin after the race.

“I knew Marquez was coming. I tried everything, but then he passed me,” he added.

“Then, it was too risky to carry out the maneuver. So yes, I am satisfied with this result,” he concluded.
