Win for competition teams Badminton club Hoevelaken
Last Friday there were two home games for Badminton club Hoevelaken on the agenda.

Men-1 competed against the De IJsel BC team. Brothers Bart and Roy took some time to warm up, but once they get going, they are difficult to beat. The first point was scored in straight sets. Christiaan and Kees were able to add the second point after an exciting three-setter. In the singles matches, the points were divided equally, so that BCH entered the final doubles matches with a 4-2 lead. Roy and Christiaan took the first hard-fought set 22-20. The duo was no longer in danger in the second set. Roy and Kees easily won their first set 21-6. Possibly a bit overconfident, the second set surprisingly went to the opponents of the IJsel. Fortunately, the focus was again fully present in the third set: 21-9 for BCH. This 6-2 victory puts Heren-1 in a respectable second place in the competition.

Inside ’82 reported to the De Slag sports hall around 7.45 pm to compete against the BC Hoevelaken mix team. BC Hoevelaken would like to compete for the places that entitle them to promotion, so it was important to keep the points in Hoevelaken. Harry and Casper finished their opponents fairly quickly. Unfortunately, that couldn’t be said for Gretha and Joke. After a tough three-setter, BCH unfortunately had to leave the point to Inside. No fewer than three of the four singles matches went BCH’s way, so that the final mix matches went into the final with a comfortable 4-2. Comfortable, because the mix is one of the strong weapons for BCH. Both games were won, resulting in a nice 6-2 score. With a lag of four points behind the leader, but with one match less played, BCH is participating well in this class.
