The Dominican team, current champion, won the title with a rebound of three wins in the last stage, against Peru, Venezuela and Colombia, in the event held in Velladupar/Colombia and where the hosts were second place and Peru took third place. position.

The Creoles do their training from Friday to Sunday, every week in October, in softball stadiums No. 1 and No. 2 of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center, under the supervision of Pedro Luis Franco, technical director of Fedosa, assisted by Francisco García (pitching coach), Modesto Figuereo (hitting coach), Kelvinson Núñez (assistant coach).

Bautista indicated that the coaching staff that will assist Carvajal in the Peru match will be announced later.

For his part, Franco pointed out that pitchers Ana Richiez, Anyela Gómez, Cauris Rincón, Eduarda Rocha, Estefani Mejía, Jelina Medina, Massiel Heredia and Melody Vizcaíno are summoned to training.
