Wrestler Atilla Vegh Assaults Zuzana Plačková’s Husband: Shocking Video Released by René Rendy

The latest images published by Zuzana Plačková’s husband caused a stir on social networks. But at what price?

Videos that got attention

On Friday morning, Zuzana Plačkova’s husband René Strausz – known by the name René Rendy – published a video that captures a really tricky situation. While he is sitting with his friend – probably in a cafe – an angry man in black clothes approaches him. After a few seconds, it can be seen that it is a well-known MMA fighter, Atilla Végh. Recently, he has been more active in social networks and influencers, and he became more famous thanks to his expressed support for President Petr Pellegrini, which many described as paid cooperation. It is there that one of the many encounters between Strausz and Végh takes place. Just like Attila, René’s wife also expressed her support for Peter Pellegrini a few days before the second round of the presidential elections. It seems that not only similar values and business attitudes unite a group of well-known Slovak influencers.

The video captures the moment when Atilla “tackles” René, and even when he comes to attack, the fighter pulls back after being pushed, but fights back several times and shows a warning finger. The images added by Strausz without sound had 5,000 likes and almost 400 comments in the first day alone, and this number is still growing – with each passing day. “We will comment on this video on IG on Sunday,” wrote to them.

However, it did not end there. On Saturday morning, the husband of the crying woman added the same video, but this time only a clip from the fight – and that too with sound. “Who the hell are you kidding,” Atilla says in the footage, to which Strausz counters that it was for fun. “Atilla, don’t fire him,” says Strausz’s band mate (by the way, they added the posts together) and a few slaps follow. “We will comment on Sunday,” Plačkova’s husband wrote on the clip. Yes, again.

When it’s just about numbers

(author’s opinion)

You don’t have to know any of them to see the theater. Even at the first hearing, the acted dialogue, as well as the comment of their mutual friend Rytmus, who laughs during the entire session, indicates that it is apparently a promo group with which Plačkova’s husband works. But at what cost?

Some people guess correctly that this is a marketing move – also known as teasing – but the rest of society may not see it that way. Especially younger users of social networks, who like to follow Slovak influencers, as well as the “dramas” that happen on our scene. Algorithms prefer controversial content, so they automatically offer it to a larger target group. Undoubtedly, the above-mentioned younger users of social networks who follow Slovak influencers will get this. And that can have fatal consequences. You can also read this article on this topic:

Foreign experts point out that such contents can strengthen negative social phenomena such as extremism, polarization and hatred. Downplaying violence on social networks also has other negative consequences. In addition to building resistance to similar actions in us, towards which we are subsequently less empathetic, young people, especially those in development, can be encouraged to imitate similar behavior in real life.
