The Booster Talent agency announced, in a press release dated October 8, 2024, the signing of Senegalese international Yacine Diop with Yalova VIP Gençlik Spor Kulübü in the Turkish Basketball League, coinciding with her birthday. A former student at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Louisville, Yacine has had an impressive career, having played in championships in Russia, France and Egypt. She was named best player at the African U18 Championship in 2012, won silver medals at Afrobasket in 2019 and 2023, and was crowned champion of the FIBA African Women Basketball League in 2023.
This transfer is part of a collaboration with Creathlete Sports Group, Dreamcatch Management and its manager, Aïda Ndiaye. At the dawn of this new stage of her career, Yacine Diop is ready to take up the challenge in Türkiye
