Zonal of the Ministry of Sports held the Judo Open

12 teams competed in the Zonal Judo Open, organized by the Technical Office of the Ministry of Sports in Riobamba.
The representation ofCañar won the title of Open Zonal de Judo who organized the Technical Office of the Ministry of Sports who directs Yuri Paucar.
Delegations from the cantons of Chimborazo: Cultured, Bait, Guamote, Guanoas well as Chimborazo Sports Federation.
Additionally: athletes from Pasta, Morona Santiago, Cañar, Tungurahua, on the Bibley Rio Club.
Cañar led the Judo Open
In the general classification they were placed as follows:
1.- Cañar
2.- Chimborazo
3.- Guamote
4.- Pasta.
Cañar He achieved the lead with 142 points, the product of nine gold medals, six silver and two bronze.
Chimborazo He was second with 124 points, after winning six gold medals, nine silver and two bronze.
The host Guamotewas third with 99 points, with two gold medals, seven silver and six bronze.
He Open Zonal de Judo “Guamote 2024” It was done in preparation for the Intercantonal Games 2024 that will be in Guano.
In another of the activities carried out by the Ministry of Sports, José David Jiménez, Minister of Sports (E), together with José Arévalo, president of the National Sports Federation of Ecuador (Fedenador)
They inaugurated the II Congress of Sciences Applied to Sports and I South American 2024, an event that brings together 452 participants until October 26.
