Without trembling, Alexander Zverev quietly qualified for the round of 16 of the Rolex Paris Masters. The German easily beat the Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor with a score of 7-6 6-3. Despite some alerts in the first set with several break points to save, Zverev still mastered his subject for his entry into the Parisian table.
Finalist in 2020, Zverev will face Arthur Fils this Thursday in what will be the shock of the day in the round of 16. Even if he had a decent match, the number 3 seed will have to raise his level of play if he wants to go to the quarter-finals.
