The 19th Geumsal Love Gimpo Market Basketball Tournament, in which the nation’s best club teams participated every year and produced a spectacular match, is the largest and most prestigious sports basketball tournament in the country, and is a wannabe tournament for basketball enthusiasts across the country that not everyone can participate in. It is held every year in November and December, at the end of the year, and is remembered by club members as a competition to end the year.

As each year passes, the quality of the competition is improving day by day. In particular, starting with the 18th tournament last year, it has been held as part of the division system that the Korean Basketball Association is ambitiously pursuing. It was held as a pilot competition for the Division 3 (Life Sports) league, which is separate from the professional (Division 1) and elite (Division 2) leagues, making it possible to establish differentiated quality.

This competition, which will be held over two weeks from November 23rd to the 24th, 30th, and December 1st, will be held in three categories: general division, university division, and U21 division. For reference, the newly established college division and U21 division ahead of this competition will be conducted as pilot events for the next three years, and will be converted to official events after the pilot events end.
