🎥 Jürgen Klopp still can’t get over the Red Devil: “You bastard!” – Football news

Jurgen Klopp was Liverpool‘s manager for nine years. He said goodbye last year, but is now back at work.

Klopp was going to take a break for a while, but at the beginning of October he started as Head of Global Soccer at Red Bull. That was not really appreciated in Germany.

The German himself was shocked by all the reactions and criticism he received about his new job. In the podcast Einfach mal Luppen by Toni Kroos and his brother Felix, he has now given the necessary explanation.

“I didn’t want to hurt anyone, not at all. I love all my former clubs. I don’t know what I should have done to keep everyone happy,” Klopp said.

Sitting still was clearly not for Klopp. “I can’t do nothing, that was already clear. Then Red Bull came along and that was personally a fantastic offer, I am very honest about that.”

In the conversation, Klopp also talked about some big moments from his career. He also lost the final of the Champions League in 2022. Then Thibaut Courtois was supreme in the Spanish goal.

“Courtois’ gloves were on fire that match. I will never be able to explain that match in my entire life. How on earth did we lose there? That bastard had twelve hands!”
