The men’s tennis Yokkaichi Challenger (Japan/Yokkaichi, Hard, ATP Challenger), which begins on the 25th, announced the singles pairings on the 23rd. Eleven Japanese players, including world No. 70 Yoshihito Nishioka, will participate in the main tournament.

The main tournament will be held from November 25th to December 1st. Z. Bergs (Belgium) won last year’s tournament.
The seeded players participating in the main match of this tournament are 1st seed Nishioka, 3rd seed Yasutaka Uchiyama, 7th seed Masaru Shimabukuro, and 8th seed Yuta Shimizu. In addition, Shintaro Mochizuki is ranked 252nd in the world, Masanori Imamura is ranked 351st in the world, Kaitomo Uchida is ranked 366th in the world, Naoki Nakagawa is ranked 381st in the world, Shi Isomura is ranked 452nd in the world as a wild card (recommended by the organizer), and Shishi Isomura is ranked 769th in the world. A total of 11 Japanese athletes will participate in the main tournament, including Rei Sakamoto of Japan University and Yua Taka of Nihon University.
The first round also featured a highly anticipated matchup between Uchiyama and Sakamoto.
