Despite the severity of her illness, she remains positive and optimistic. “It’s a challenge I never thought I’d have to take on one day. But with everyone’s help, I’m sure I will overcome it and make a full recovery. I am in very good hands with the doctors here in Munich,” she said.
And she can count on the unwavering support of an entire club, which has decided to extend her contract for one year (until June 2026).
