The climax of the 34th edition of the Cineforum von Arci Movie im Pierrot in Naples is coming up. The event brings many films and guests to the hall on Via De Meis Bridges: weekly appointments with four screenings, every Tuesday and Wednesday at 6 and 9 p.m., in the cinema, which has become more beautiful and welcoming thanks to the recent renovation.
In November the Arci Movie event brings the film “The teacher who promised the sea” to the big screen, based on the true story of Antoni Benaigesa teacher who works in a small village in the Burgos province of Spain. December begins with “Life lessons“ von Alexander Paynethe story of a professor (Paul Giamatti) at a prestigious American school who is forced to stay on campus during Christmas break to mentor a group of students who have no place to spend the holiday. This is followed by the appointment with “Zamora“, a film by Neri Marcorè, who will be present in the Ponticelli hall on Tuesday December 10th together with the writer and director Ruggero Cappuccio.
Cineforum Arci Movie: the program
In December the Cineforum will bring “Dogman“, the work of Luc Besson, in Pierrot. After the Christmas break, the event will continue with four works: “Tatami“ by Zahra Amir Ebrahimi and Guy Nattiv with the controversial history of the Judo World Championships in Georgia; “The time it takes” by Francesca Comencini, who narrates the relationship with her father, the director Luigi Comencini, a huge figure in terms of talent, fame and personality; “Another world“ by Riccardo Milani with Antonio Albanese and Virginia Raffaele, the protagonists of the events in a remote village in the upper Val di Sangro; “One life” by James Hawes, which recounts the rescue of hundreds of Jewish children during World War II.

The Arci Movie membership for the 2024-2025 edition includes a subscription to 25 films for 50 euros and a new card intended exclusively for young people up to 30 years old, with entry to 25 films for 25 euros. The ticket for a single screening costs 5 euros.
