San Francisco 49ers @ Green Bay Packers 10:38

Last year’s finalist San Francisco suffered another setback at the Green Bay Packers. The 49ers, who were severely weakened in terms of replacements, even had to cope with an injury loss to quarterback Brock Purdy, so backup Brandon Allen (199 YDS, 1 TD, 1 INT) took over his part.

The Packers took a 17-0 lead before the 49ers scored their first points shortly before halftime with a touchdown pass from Allen to George Kittle. In the third quarter, Allen threw an interception in his own half, giving the Packers good field position. Josh Jacobs capped the drive with a touchdown to give Green Bay a 24-7 lead.

In the final quarter, Allen committed his second turnover by fumbling the ball at his own 16-yard line. Once again the Packers knew how to take advantage of this by having Jacobs get into the end zone and make the decision. Overall, Jacobs ran for 106 yards and three touchdowns. Quarterback Jordan Love had 163 passing yards and two touchdowns.

After their second loss in a row, the 49ers have a negative record with five wins and six losses, while the Packers have an 8-3 record.

Denver Broncos @ Las Vegas Raiders 29:19

A few hours after Formula 1 put Las Vegas into a state of emergency, the Las Vegas Raiders hosted the Denver Broncos and suffered their seventh defeat in a row (2:9 record). The Broncos, on the other hand, are still on course for the playoffs with a 7:5 record.

The Raiders got off to a good start and went into halftime with a 13:9 lead. Early in the third quarter, Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew (230 YDS, 1 TD) threw an interception in his own half. The Broncos knew how to take advantage of the good field position: Courtland Sutton caught a touchdown pass from Bo Nix (273 YDS, 2 TD), giving Denver a 16:13 lead.

After both teams made a field goal, Sutton caught his second touchdown pass with 5:30 minutes left in the game, giving the Broncos a 26:16 lead. After Minshew injured his shoulder, backup Desmon Ridder (64 YDS) came into the game – and recovered a fumble on his second play.

Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks 6:16

After the Seattle Seahawks celebrated a win against the 49ers last week, they now achieved their next division win against the Arizona Cardinals. As a result, the team around quarterback Geno Smith (254 YDS, 1 TD, 1 INT) now has a 6:5 record – just like the inferior Cardinals.

Overall the game was uneventful. The Seahawks’ offense only got into the end zone once, when Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught a touchdown pass from Smith for a 7-3 halftime lead. In the third quarter, Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (285 YDS) threw a pick six that Coby Bryant carried back 69 yards into the end zone – 13:3 for Seattle.

After that, only the kickers appeared: Arizona was able to reduce the deficit to 6:13 with a field goal. The Seahawks also restored their old lead with a field goal, thus ensuring the final score. For the Cardinals, the loss ends a winning streak of four wins in a row.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Carolina Panthers 30:27

The Kansas City Chiefs got back on the road to success after their first loss of the season last week against the Buffalo Bills, but had a surprisingly difficult time against the strong Carolina Panthers.

After the Panthers went into the break with a 9:20 deficit, they shortened the lead to 16:20 with a touchdown run by David Moore and the subsequent extra point. The touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes (269 YDS, 3 TD) to DeAndre Hopkins restored the Chiefs’ old lead, but the Panthers could not be shaken off and got back to 19:27 with a field goal.

Then it got even crazier: With just under two minutes left in the game, Chuba Hubbard first ran for a touchdown and then a two-point conversion, making it 27:27. After going into the break 14-10, the Vikings extended their lead to 24-10 in the third quarter with a field goal by John Parker Romo and a touchdown run by Aaron Jones.

Even the onside kick was successful, so they were able to equalize with a field goal and the game went into overtime. However, John Parker Romo scored the Vikings victory in overtime.

Detroit Lions @ Indianapolis Colts 24:6

The Detroit Lions are simply unstoppable. The Lions celebrated their ninth win in a row over the Indianapolis Colts, who now have a 6-6 record, giving them a 10-1 record. Together with the Chiefs, the Lions are currently the most successful team in the NFL.

The Colts went without a touchdown in the game and only managed two field goals before halftime. Quarterback Anthony Richardson was only able to complete 11 of his 28 pass attempts for 172 yards.

Touchdowns only came after halftime. The Cowboys appeared to be the sure winner when KaVontae Turpin carried a kickoff return 99 yards into the end zone to make it 27:17. But the Commanders got back into the game: Seibert converted a field goal, then Terry McLaurin caught an 86-yard touchdown pass from Jayden Daniels (275 YDS, 2 TD, 2 INT).
