The district league team VT Rinteln finally achieved their long-awaited first win of the season on matchday four. In the match against MTV Groß-Buchholz it ended 6:2. This time the team competed without team captain Dominic Kirstein, but again with regular players Sven Aits and Christian Schücke. The points for the 6-2 win were scored by Andreas Winter alongside Fabian Korte in the men’s doubles, Tabea Korte and Olga Koczewski in the women’s doubles, Sven Aits and Tabea Korte in the mixed doubles as well as Olga Kozcewski, the youngster Joschua Müchler and Christian Schücke.
In the second game of the day against TK Berenbostel it was very close in the crucial phases and in the end the Rinteln team had to admit defeat 3:5, an annoying defeat after many close games in which there was also an overall victory or at least a draw would have been in there. Joschua Müchler and Fabian Korte had to admit defeat in the men’s doubles, Olga Koczewski in the women’s singles, Tabea and Fabian Korte in the mixed doubles and also Andreas Winter and Christian Schücke. The women’s doubles Tabea Korte and Olga Koczewski, Sven Aits and Christian Schücke and Joschua Müchler again scored the three points for the Rinteln account in his singles.
The fight to stay in the league continues in mid-December, then in Berenbostel.
