A good journey that came to a halt at the league leaders’ home burned. The 4-3 result achieved last Saturday leaves a bad taste in the mouth of Latina Calcio a 5 but at the same time reinforces the convictions about the good things done so far. The first half with the top of the class was full of mistakes and obviously in a big match of such importance so many errors are not allowed. The defeat, however, highlighted many things to work on because first place is certainly not the goal of the Nerazzurri troop but only to continue a growth that has been going on for over a year. “We lost at the home of a very hungry team who deserved the victory – he declared Stefano Scala – we gave too many gifts as has already happened to us in some other crucial races. We know what we need to improve, the boys are aware of this and have always been good at reacting in difficult moments. Our project is moving forward, there are many growing aspects that still have enormous room for improvement and we will work on those with Mr. Terenzi. We are facing super equipped teams, we have already achieved great results but, a little too often, we commit elementary errors that compromise the progress of our matches. Despite this, we are satisfied with the progress made so far because we are managing to take that step forward that we set ourselves at the beginning of the season. Ardea was certainly a failed exam from some points of view but this must not divert attention from our objectives, from our daily work and must not budge our beliefs one centimetre.”
