The martial artists will compete with the objective of earning points in the ranking to represent Mexico in international competitions.
Tijuana, Baja California.- Eight Baja Californian judokas will take part in the Mexican Judo Gala, a tournament that will take place at the Poliforum of Club Dorados in the municipality of Oaxtepec, Morelos from December 6 to 8.
“The tournament is a scoring event for the national ranking, hence the importance of a small group traveling, the eight boys have an important level of competition, even to remain within the national team,” said Jossan Fajer, president of the State Association Judo of Baja California.
In the group of martial artists who will compete in Oaxtepec, there are CONADE National medalists, so the chances of them reaching the podium of the competition are high in all cases.
In the 2024 edition of the CONADE Nationals, the Baja Californians added 6 gold medals, 3 silver and 4 bronze, obtaining third place nationally in the discipline.
