Bonn [ENA] 9th matchday in the 2nd Bundesliga for 1.BC Beuel. The second team of 1.BC Beuel lost the home game on Saturday against TV Refrath 2:5. The derby between Beuel and Refrath started straight away with two close double games. In the men’s competition, the ailing Moritz Rappen and Lennart Konder lost after 3 close sets. Hannah Pohl and Teresa Rondorf were missing the last bit of luck

In the second men’s doubles, the first victory for the second team of the 1.BC Beuel was achieved. Ben Gatzsche and Luis Aniello La Rocca won after 5 sets and retained the upper hand in the final set 12:10. Hendrik Stagge then played the second men’s singles and made his debut in the Bundesliga. He performed well but lost in 3 close sets. In the women’s singles, Teresa Rondorf showed a strong fighting performance,
but had to admit defeat in 4 sets. This meant that the overall victory for the guests was already secured. Lennart Konder played the last singles of the evening.
