Bonn [ENA] 9th matchday in the 2nd Bundesliga for 1.BC Beuel. The second team of 1.BC Beuel lost the home game on Saturday against TV Refrath 2:5. The derby between Beuel and Refrath started straight away with two close double games. In the men’s competition, the ailing Moritz Rappen and Lennart Konder lost after 3 close sets. Ben Gatzsche and Luis Aniello La Rocca won after 5 sets and retained the upper hand in the final set 12:10. Hendrik Stagge then played the second men’s singles and made his debut in the Bundesliga. He performed well but lost in 3 close sets. In the women’s singles, Teresa Rondorf showed a strong fighting performance,
but had to admit defeat in 4 sets. This meant that the overall victory for the guests was already secured. Lennart Konder played the last singles of the evening.
