(ac) On the fourth day of the men’s Regional Division 2, a late basket from Versolato condemns Pallacanestro Tolmezzo to a bitter away defeat against Cus Udine.
It was a balanced and hard-fought match until the final siren, decided only at the last breath.
The first half ended in a draw, 32-32, with the teams facing each other head-on.
In the second part of the match the Carnicians alternated good play with moments of difficulty, paying dearly for a few too many errors and a free throw percentage below expectations.
Despite the generous performance, the Tolmezzini were therefore unable to bring home the first two points of the season, which instead go to the Udine team.
Pallacanestro Tolmezzo will have the opportunity to redeem itself as early as Friday 15 November when, at 8.45 pm, it will host Longobardi Basket at the “Gabriella Zanier” Sports Hall.
