The last week was a sporty one for them Dümptener in itself and full employment was announced again.
At first the eyes focused on him Olympic boxing to Cologne, because there the SC Colonia Cologne judged This year’s International German Championships for the U1 age group will take place from November 5th, 2024 to November 9th, 2024 in its sports hall at the South Stadium8 out.
122 Reports ensured 10 Sessions as well 106 Pairings until the respective German champions in the respective weight classes were determined.
The BC Mülheim-Dümpten sent here in the U18 age group Siman Khalifwho won the NRW U18 championships, are chasing the title.
It was already clear at the draw that the luck of the draw looked different and it was a difficult path to take, because Xenia Scharapinski from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the top favorite in this weight class, was already waiting in the quarter-finals young Dümpten woman.
She has been the series German champion since 2021, took part in both the European and World Championships with the national team in 2023 and can also look back on two world championship titles in kickboxing.
Cimanwho was in her first year of competition, was unimpressed and looked for her chance. She repeatedly tried to overcome her opponent’s range advantages and score points in the half distance.
With nice avoidance movements and the resulting attacks, she was able to keep the fight open for a long time, but in the end the greater experience prevailed, so that Ciman dropped out of the title race.
The Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania woman then secured her next title as German champion, but everyone confirmed that the quarterfinals were the best fight in this weight class. We now need to build on this for next year.
Then we continued for one small Dümpten relay on November 9th, 2024 and November 10th, 2024 to Duisburg-Walsum, because this is where the WBC Duisburg is organizing its traditional, international Duisburg city championships. A tough program over two days of competition, as a total of 60 competitions were scheduled.
Here they sent Dümptener Ian Aswaldt, Lemi Kurt, Emilio Emre Gudia sowie Andy Parazi into the race for precious metal.
All Dümptener were able to make their way to the final and so some tough tests awaited them on Sunday.
They had to face the first setbacks Dümptener accept on the scales, because the intended opponent of Lemi Kurt Unfortunately he didn’t show up, so he couldn’t get into the ring on Sunday.
So opened Ian Aswaldt the Dümpten dance on this final day. He met Johannes Berberich from 1st BC Marburg in the cadet bantamweight division.
Ian was in a brilliant mood and dominated the action in the ring with the gong for the first round.
He cleverly shortened his opponent’s reach advantage and with the first combination, which ended with a cross with his striking hand, he scored an effective hit so that the Hessian was counted.
In the further course it stopped Ian the pressure, showed a combination worth seeing and continued to attack his opponent. Towards the end of the first lap he increased the pace and ensured that the Hessian was counted in again.
The opposing corner then had insight and stopped the fight in the second round.
Winner by ABD 2nd round and thus Duisburg city champion: Ian Aswaldt!
Could Emilio Emre Guida die Dümptener keep on track for success? He could!
His opponent in the elite welterweight final was Farsad Ahmadshah from TV Vreden.
Emilio began the fight with concentration from a good range against a southpaw who was unfamiliar to him. With a good overview, he ignored the Westphalian’s attempts to attack and countered with beautiful straights.
Emilio took part in the action from the middle of the ring, increased the pace where he had to and steadily moved forward on the referee’s scorecards.
His straights hit the mark across all three laps and he secured the distance with good footwork. In the third round he was able to increase the pace even more and put his opponent in such trouble that they had to be counted out.
After three good rounds it was clear: Winner on points and thus new Duisburg city champion: Emilio Emre Guida.
Last Dümptener rose that day Andy Parazi into the ring and he met Mohamed Jahouh from Boxring Neuss in the elite middleweight final.
It was a very competitive fight and was to the liking of the spectators present, as it had pretty much “everything” that boxing had to offer. Closely led, high tempo and punch frequencies, hard hands and counting on both sides, strong dynamics.
While the first round was still in the Neuss corner, it wasn’t really possible to agree on a winner in rounds two and three; here the action wavered back and forth.
Ultimately the victory went narrowly into the Neuss corner Andy was decorated with silver and a strenuous sporting week was coming to an end.
