532 judokas participated in the judo competition

Last Sunday, November 24, the Saint-Jory judo club organized a departmental competition bringing together 6 categories of young judokas (baby, benjamin, mini-chick, chick, mini and cadet).
18 clubs were represented for a total of 532 judokas. Among the clubs present, we could note in particular the presence of the clubs of Mazades Minimes Lalande, Saint-Jory, Launaguet, Verfeil, Saint-Loup Cammas, Fenouillet, Bruguières, Pechbonnieu, Bouloc, l’Union, Croix de Pierre and Grenade sur Garonne . The day unfolded in the most beautiful way, a real pleasure to see these future champions compete in a warm atmosphere. The leaders of the local club said they were happy and proud to welcome so many participants, a record. Ranking: Mazades Minimes Lalande, 64 victories, Saint-Jory, 59 victories, Launaguet, 53 victories, Verfeil, 43 victories. The awards were presented by the mayor and departmental councilor Victor Denouvion, Guillaume Almeida Chaves, regional councilor and Rachid Chibli, elected delegate to sports associations and sports infrastructures. The leaders of the Saint-Jory club salute its volunteers, its partners, the parents, without whom the event could not have been held.
