During the tennis club’s general meeting on November 9, an update was made on last season. With 72 members, the club is placed 24e departmental place; with 36 young people and 36 adults, which proves that the tennis school is working well. On the other hand, there is an imbalance between the number of men and women (50 versus 22). At the sporting level, the club entered two teams in the Seniors + Autonomous Cup, one team in the Winter Cup and three teams in the Ligue Nouvelle-Aquitaine championship.
The second edition of the Open tournament took place from 1is to June 16, with 90 participants, 128 matches played, in the village thanks to the loan of the sports hall and the favorable weather. Note an increase in participation of 17% compared to the first edition thanks in particular to the addition of a simple category + 35 Gentlemen.
The tennis school is doing well: from 31, it increased to 36 last year. Hugo had an incredible season for his first year of tennis and Eva became departmental champion in 17/18 years old as well as finalist in the senior category.
A padel project was presented to the town hall.
