A piece of the roof of the Dallas Cowboys NFL franchise stadium fell onto the pitch a few minutes before a game.
A very big scare. On the sidelines of the NFL clash, the American football league, between the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans this Monday evening, several pieces of the roof of AT&T Stadium came loose and one fell onto the lawn.

The scene occurred as locals decided to open the retractable roof for the first time in more than two years. Fortunately, no one was injured, but it was a close call for the song to come into contact with the production staff on site.
The roof was subsequently closed
According to officials, the part came loose due to the strong winds that blew all day. Another piece of the roof, stuck high up, did not fall onto the ground.
“Gusts of wind blew throughout the day and apparently caused a lot of damage. When we tried to open it, the winds went under the roof at that point,” Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones told CBS. There was some damage, but you should know that Dallas experienced gusty winds throughout the afternoon… We were aware of that.”
The roof was subsequently closed and remained closed for the game which saw the Cowbys lose (10-34) against the Texans.
