At the start of the season, the badminton club is showing good momentum in Scaër. Multiplying participations in various tournaments in Finistère and even in Loire-Atlantique, the results are clearly improving, particularly in men’s doubles, reaching the semi-final at the Petit Bélier tournament in Quimper and the final of the Plumes Bigoudènes in Plougastel Saint -Germain.
A busy schedule awaits members, with numerous meetings planned with the Evening Federation (official interclub tournament which runs throughout the season) and the interclubs (Quimperlé, Plumes d’Ergué, Rosporden, Bannalec and Gourin). Motivation is at its peak among club members.
Preparing for the Telethon
“One of the major challenges of this season will be our 2nd edition of the Telethon. Indeed, the club is organizing a 12-hour badminton marathon, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., in collaboration with the Football and Ping-Pong club. It is open to all ages and all levels. Two sports will be possible: ping-pong and badminton. The associations initiating this collection of donations are the trio of clubs, Scaër Badminton, En avant Scaër and Scaër-Coray Table tennis,” announced Charles Marant, president of the club.
