Among the various sports proposed, Judo stood out, a sport in which the kids involved found an outlet and a discipline in which they could express themselves freely through physical contact between kids and with the teachers in total safety. This discipline was handled by Asd Fukuro Roma (formerly Kodokan Gordiani) with master Mario Forte, FISDIR regional representative of the Judo sector, instructor Luca Forte and with the help of Andrea Forte, Italian athlete of the FISDIR down national team. Shared Experiences and New Friendships In addition to the sporting aspect, the campus encouraged the creation of meaningful bonds between participants. The group activities encouraged collaboration and communication, which are fundamental elements for the psychological well-being of young people. Moments of sharing and fun made the experience even more enriching, allowing the kids to make new friends and feel part of a community. The technicians and all the staff involved expressed great satisfaction with the results obtained. The dedication and professionalism of the organizing team ensured the success of the event, highlighting the importance of well-structured programs in the context of social inclusion. The campus represented a positive model to be replicated in the future, extending these opportunities to an ever-increasing number of young people.
Various representatives of the committee and federations spoke during the campus, including Marcoccia Giancarlo, national technical director of FISDIR, Roberto Cavana, regional delegate of FISDIR Lazio, Andreana Giuseppe, vice president of CIP LAZIO, and Giorgio Trabucco, councilor of the municipality of Rome. The Fundamental Role of the CIP in Promoting Inclusive Sport The Italian Paralympic Committee continues to play a crucial role in promoting sport among people with disabilities. Through initiatives such as this campus, CIP Lazio aims to remove barriers and create a sporting environment accessible to all. The organisation’s constant commitment contributes to raising public awareness of the importance of inclusion and respect for diversity.
