Half an hour before the match between Valencia CF and Real Betis, fans gathered to thank emergency bodies and volunteers, who according to the club, In recent days they have given “lessons of solidarity and love.”

Then, 15 minutes before the start of the match, a tribute video was projected on the stadium screens, while eighty volunteers took to the field.

The most special moment was when the two teams left. While in the stands the fans formed a tifo with the flag of the Valencian Community, the school children formed a large black crepe on the field.

Then there was a minute of silence, where players and volunteers stood around a shield of the Valencian Community.

In addition to this act, The team that normally plays at home with a white t-shirt, on this occasion wore completely black clothing, which will be auctioned. The money will be allocated to the towns most devastated by the catastrophe.

In the end, the match ended with a victory for the Valencian team by a score of 4 to 2, a result that still does not allow the historic Valencia to leave the relegation positions.
