Great season finale for the Blucelesti athletes Badminton & Croquet Club Lecco who after the excellent results at the Italian Championships won three regional titles with Andrew Xavier e Mattia Cattaneo.
Intense Sunday at the gym of the Toscanini Institute in Chiari with 80 kids from the various Lombardy ASDs competing for the regional title. Excellent performances for Andrea Saverio who won two regional titles and obtained a third place: in the SM U19 beating Hu (New Sport) 21-15, 21-8 in the final; in the XD U19 paired with Yi Yuan Chen (Junior BC MI), final won against Segato/Pagani 21-15, 21-16; third step of the podium in the DM U19 paired with Matteo Maggioni (Pol Oratorio 2B Brivio), semifinal lost against Hu (New Sport)/Bocquet Cousine (Junior BC MI) 17-21, 12-21.
Mattia Cattaneo, after the Italian Championships, also wins the regionals in the DM U13 paired with Luca Li lied (Junior BC MI), in the final against Haxhiu/Toska (Brescia Sport Più) 21-8, 21-14, while in the SM U13 he climbs to the second step of the podium after the final played against his doubles partner Li 8-21, 14 -21.
He also took part in this edition Nicolò Borinwho in the SM U17 lost in the round of 16 against the No. 1 seeded Segato (GSA Chiari) 7-21, 8-21 and in the DM U17 paired with Matteo Pessina (Pol Oratorio 2 B Brivio) in the quarterfinals against Segato/Giani (GSA Chiari) tds n° 1, 9-21, 8-21; luck in the draws was not on his side.
