Under 17 and Under 15 Gold win, a great appointment for the Squirrels-Dragonflies and Giovanni Lucchesi guest for two very interesting training sessions. This is the balance of the Pallacanestro Alassio weekend.
Under 17 Gold. An excellent 2nd quarter and several lapses in attention in Vado Ligure. A trip to Vado for the U17s who played a non-continuous match and managed to make the decisive breakthrough in the second quarter before returning to suffer after the long interval. The positive aspect is that by playing balanced games you certainly improve but you need greater continuity for all 40 minutes.

Falco 2, Ferrabone, Trushi 2, Donadio 13, Vaccarezza 19, Ghiglione 6, Magaletti, Biraghi 13, Zerbone, Gastaldi 21. Team Ciravegna-Accinelli
Under 15 Gold. Excellent start to the championship for all 40 minutes. First home match for the U15s who beat Golfo dei Poeti Spezia after a balanced first quarter. From the second quarter the greater interchangeability of the Alassini players made the difference, managing to always keep the concentration and intensity high.

Squirrels-Dragonflies. Beautiful Saturday afternoon for the Alassini born in 2016-17 who played many games in an internal 3vs3 tournament while waiting for the category mini-basketball championship which they will face with the usual spirit of fun and giving everyone the opportunity to play.
Academy Italia. On Monday, Alassio was the scene of two training sessions conducted by the manager of the Italian youth national team Giovanni Lucchesi who, together with a legend of Italian basketball, Roberto Brunamonti, first led the teams born in 2012-13 and subsequently the teams born in 2010-11 of Ponente Liguria. The event is connected to the training held on Sunday by the Ligurian selection in the new Palasport of Genoa in which Lara participated and, this Ligurian week of the Azzurri leaders, will culminate on Thursday with the match of the Women’s National Team against the Czech Republic, effectively inaugurating the new Genoese facility.
“We are happy that Alassio was chosen as the venue for these two training sessions, we are proud that the two coaches who supported Lucchesi are our Technical Manager Laura and Giulia and very happy that many of our basketball players were present at the event. Women’s basketball must be looked after and the presence of several coaches from Western Liguria at the two training sessions in Alassio demonstrates a renewed interest in the sector”comment from the club.
