The Spanish Carlos Alcaraz will begin his journey in the Nitto ATP Finals this Monday against the Norwegian Caper Ruud, whom he has won in the four previous matches between both tennis players. The event brings together the eight best tennis players of the year from November 10 to 17 in Turin.
It is the second participation of the Murcian in the competition. In 2023 he reached the semifinals, eliminated by Djokovic, who will not participate in this edition due to an injury, as confirmed by the Serbian in a statement.
Alcaraz seeks to improve that mark from last season, although he has faced a difficult group. The winner of Wimbledon and Roland Garros will compete in the John Newcombe Group, along with the German Alexander Zverev, world number two, the Norwegian Casper Ruud and the Russian Andrey Rublev.
