ALGIERS — The 2024 edition of the National Beach Tennis Championship, initially scheduled for last weekend at the Grand Bleu Tourist Complex in Zemmouri (Boumerdes), was finally rescheduled for November 29-30, at the same venue, announced Monday the Algerian Tennis Federation (FAT), co-organizer of the event.
The competition was initially scheduled to take place on November 22-23, but for fear of bad weather conditions likely to disrupt its smooth running, especially since the matches were to be played outdoors, the organizers preferred to anticipate, by initially announcing the postponement. time, before setting the date of November 29-30 for its progress.
The initial date was set during the monthly meeting of the Federal Office, held Friday, November 8 at the Federal Training Center of the FAT (Ex-Tennis Club of Ben Aknoun – Algiers). In addition to this decision, the BF had set the dates for the holding of the National Championships for the 3rd series and seniors, which will take place, respectively, on November 29-30 and December 12-13.
