Six French women will hit the Austrian slopes of Gurgl (Austria) this Saturday. On the program: the second slalom of the winter for the third World Cup stage of the season. While Marie Lamure and Clarisse Brèche failed to reach the top 10 in Levi (Finland) last weekend, the two Tricolores will try to achieve a better result this Saturday.
In addition to these two names, the French selection includes the same faces as a week earlier, namely Marion Chevrier, Laurine Lugon-Moulin, Caitlin McFarlane and Chiara Pogneaux. Among the big names to watch, it’s hard to avoid that of Mikaela Shiffrin. The American won in the first slalom of the season, bringing her closer to 100 World Cup victories.
