The VCGB returns to its floor this Saturday, November 30 (8 p.m.) by hosting the training of Malaussanne where the son of a former Valencian, Pascal Ricard, plays.
The “Vécégébistes”, after this mini-truce, the Coupe d’Occitanie having taken place last week, are diving back into the championship with important deadlines. Starting with the Malaussanne team, which is off to a rather promising start to the season with a record of 6 wins and 3 losses (at Villeneuve and Cugnaux, and at home against Saint-Médard). In their results, they managed to bring down Réal Chalossais in their room.
Obviously, at the end of the first leg, they will have to face Mont-de-Marsan and Rodez, however their results allow them to be on a good dynamic. The Gersois have the means to reverse this dynamic.

Frédéric Zadro’s men will, most certainly, find their offensive leader, David Seremet, in their ranks. Faced with this Pau formation which is the best defense in the championship, his contribution will be essential to overcome this defensive armada. However, the “Green and White” will need a united group that is as effective as during their last meeting at the Arena where the collective allowed many players to perform well.

The Gersois proved that they had the ability to shake up any team at home by playing an alert game, made up of restarts thanks to a good defensive performance.
If Malaussanne is the best defense in the championship, it struggles to express itself away from home with only 71 points scored on average per match. Three offensive assets will nevertheless be worth watching closely, the leader Daudignon and the strong wingers, Bouchet and Ricard, sons of the former ALV (Amicale laïque de Valence) player, Pascal Ricard, whom the elders will enjoy seeing again in the Arenas.
