Saturday November 16 – Benjamins
This Saturday the Andrézieux tournament took place for the youngest children.
20 youngsters were present for their first competition of the season.
Arthur, Lucy and Apolline finished 3rd in their respective categories. Following several well-started fights, all three managed to get on the podium. Congratulations to them.
Nina finished 5th after losing in the 1/2 final and then in 3rd place. She nevertheless mastered her start to the tournament, congratulations to her.
Jasmine and Kaissa finished in 7th place. Jasmine finished 1st in the group, then lost against the future 2nd. Drafted, she will then lose against Lucy. Kaissa finished 2nd in her group then lost in the repechage. Both still showed great things for young first year girls.
After finishing 1st in his group, Valentin lost at the gates of the repechage final. A nice journey which allowed him to complete 6 fights.
Finally, Baptiste, Ethan, Joris, Luc, Merevahn, Alain, Andréa, Timéo, Ethan, Paol, Nino and Gaspard fail to rank despite several fights won for some. Still in their first year for the majority, they knew how to listen and be motivated. This bodes well for the rest of the season. Well done to them.
Alongside the competition, club volunteers organized the refreshment bar. Thank you to those who came to lend a hand.
